With over 20 years of faithful pastoral leadership, Pastor DJ is devoted to leading people into deeper relationship with Christ and equipping them to live out their faith daily. Alongside his pastoral ministry, he serves as an elementary school educator, viewing every classroom—and every conversation—as a platform to nurture and disciple the next generation.

A graduate of Southeastern University, Pastor DJ is passionate about clear, Spirit-led communication that builds up the body of Christ and strengthens the church community. His wife, Alicia Breden, also a Southeastern alumna with a degree in pastoral ministry, shares deeply in that vision. Since marrying in 1998, they have served side-by-side in ministry, raising three children—one currently a high school senior and two attending college.

Alicia serves as Worship Pastor at Lighthouse Assembly of God, where she leads the music ministry with anointing, authenticity, and a heart for God’s presence. She also teaches second grade and views her classroom as a ministry field where love, truth, and encouragement take root. Whether in worship or education, Alicia brings the same Spirit-filled devotion that shapes every corner of their family’s calling.

A guiding verse in Pastor DJ’s life and ministry is Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This promise fuels his vision to help others discover the hope, healing, and purpose found in walking with Jesus.
